C0 Fluorine-Free DWR: Level 5 Water Repellency Without PFCs

Water repellency used to depend on long-chain fluorocarbons (PFCs). Today our entire outdoor line is finished with C0 fluorine-free DWR — achieving a Level 5 spray rating, the highest on the ISO 4920 scale, while keeping the fabric free of persistent fluorinated chemistry.
How C0 finishing works
Fluorine-free repellents form a low surface-energy lattice on the yarn surface. Combined with tight construction and proper curing, water beads and rolls off while the fabric stays breathable.
